Marmite

People either love her or they hate her. Personally, I love Gaga, and hate Marmite. She doesn't care what people think, she wears what she wants, how she wants and there's noone else like her right now.

Prism

I'm on the lookout for a new pair of glasses (contact lenses are boring)...and I fell in love with Prism's frames at their press day a few months ago. The collections are named after Rio, London, New York, Paris and Rome for their street-style influences and are all handmade in Italy....

...alas, no matter what I try, I always end up looking like Ugly Betty.

When I grow up...

...I want to be as sophisticated as Rachel Weisz (specifically in the latest Harper's, wearing that sparkly strapless Balmain piece of perfection).

Belle de jour

I've been buying alot of black lately (most recently, a Balmain-esque, sharp shouldered dress from H&M's a/w range), which is silly & impractical - seeing as it's July. I guess it's just a pitfall of collections hitting shops so far ahead of each season, though I always have been an Autumn/Winter type of girl... Anyway, I can't help but think of Leigh Lezark whilst channeling my inner (ladylike) goth/punk.

Summertime Clothes

Gingerlillytea's Flickr has put me in the mood for a lazy summer afternoon of bike rides, picnics and naps. Countryside jaunts will definitely be on my agenda over the coming months! Go here for the Animal Collective song I named this blog after.
