Louise Goldin

As well as collaborations with Mark Fast, Jonathan Saunders, Ann-Sofie Back and Ashish...all to be released this year, Topshop has been working with Louise Goldin on a line of shoes, out next month:

Louise Goldin's collection was in my top 3 favourites for SS10, so I was really excited about this news...and I love the first pair pictured above (the last pair are a little too Dolly Parton for me). BUT. As usual with all the nicest shoes and collabs, I'm a little bit put off by the height of the heel.

I always have a constant battle over whether I should brave it and wear high-heels. Being roughly 5''10 I feel like a giantess in flats already - let alone in courts/killer heels...but perhaps this once I could make an exception...though I'd much prefer a pair of the sparkly originals like the ones used in her show:

Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan has put together a portfolio for W's latest Art issue, featuring Lisa Evangelista. The whole thing confuses me but I love its retro feel, each of the shots could have been taken from a film, Kubrick comes to mind.
