Prorsum s/s10

Last night saw the return of Burberry to London Fashion Week, I've never been a Burberry girl, but this show has stripped all images of Daniella Westbrook from my mind and replaced them with the following, knotted and dusky beauties...

The colour palette, the simple brown belts, the twist on a traditional mac...beautiful. I think this is my favourite collection so far. Watch the live stream they recorded of the show, it brightened up my dull Wednesday morning toute suite!

Mark Fast S/S10

Plus sized models, love it...

Go here to take a look at the rest of his new collection.

Award for best behind-the-scene photos, yet again, goes to Dazed Digital:

Rodarte S/S10

Models were made to wear black cloaks before the show to keep the collection under wraps - mythical, dream-like, bandaged bodies, majestically marched through smoke and perfume; decorated with tribal body paint, cocooned hair and Nicholas Kirkwood shoes. See below my favourite snaps found at Dazed, Inside-out and Jak & Jil

'This idea of ashes meant the fabrics (leather, silks, cheesecloth, plastic, macramé and cobweb) this season were burnt, shredded, destroyed and utterly ruined until they were remnants of their former selves and then delicately draped and latticed back together again.' - Dazed Digital

Decade in Style

'In celebration of this decade in fashion AnOther Magazine has paired the most influential designers with fashion's finest accomplices; the actresses, models, musicians and muses who inspire with their sense of style and the power of their image. The fashion houses granted AnOther Magazine personal access to their archives and the fashion editors carefully paired each icon with a look by one designer from the past 10 years. Two portfolios by Craig McDean and Hedi Slimane were co-ordinated over 18 months, with shoots in Paris, London, New York and Los Angeles, involving thousands of conversations between hundreds of people around the world.'

Miu Miu

I'm currently feeling like a kid at Christmas after having just bought my first designer handbag - a shiny, dark brown, Miu Miu Vitello Lux!! This was followed by a delicious afternoon tea set at Yauatcha (Dim Sum and Macaroons make a dream team) and a Liberty sample sale, lovely. In dedication I thought I'd post my favourite Miu Miu campaign starring Kirsten Dunst...

I want...

Hannah Marshall's Eyebrows.

Rosa Cha SS10

NY Fashion week has kicked off and at Rosa Cha, the label's new designer Alexandre Herchcovitch, opted for a flirty fifties vibe with high waist bikini bottoms, plaid prints and headkerchiefs. I tried out this look on my recent holiday to Portugal, minus the headscarf and killer abs....

Garance Dore

I'm desperate to get my hands on one of Garance Dore's limited edition t-shirts being sold at the new Gap pop-up store in Kingly Court. I spent too much time at Chanel last night during Vogue's Fashion Night Out (watching a live Daisy Lowe shoot, drinking free champagne and getting a Chanel manicure dahhhrling!) that I never made it to see her appear in-store.

A frantic call this morning revealed there are a few left....but they're all out of my favourite geek chic top (shown below). She's back on the 21st for a fashion week party at the store so I'm hoping they'll have stashed some away for the event. That evening her boyfriend The Sartorialist will be around the corner doing a signing of his new book too. Fingers crossed I get my fan-girl book and tee...I can't wait.

Fashion & Film

I'm really enjoying the way designers have started using film to show off their collections. Below are a few of my favourites, one of my surprise choices is Bergdorf Goodman's ad for Victoria Beckham, I can't stand her clothing range but the video is pretty elegant/eerie and I like the little twist at the end. Also check out Halston's fall film on their website, dreamy.

John Patrick

The trousers...the hair...the pouts.

I struggle to dislike any of Teller's campaigns for Marc Jacobs.
